“HOME ON THE MOVE” (architect’s version).......It was a decision of a lifetime when I decided to hook on to a handsome young officer of the INDIAN ARMY. The instability took it’s toll soon and the frequent moves never allowed me to design my own abode. But life as they say is the biggest experience. As I have grown to love the volatile environment that comes with these unsung heroes I soon discovered some treasures and came across some of the unbelievably gifted designers (not by qualification but mind you MUCH MORE than that), the army wives. The way these “homemakers” have transformed their houses seems beyond normal. They are no less magicians who adorn multifaceted invisible hats. Today we begin a series dedicated to these gorgeous ladies “WEDDED TO THE OLIVE GREENS” and their shining bright and frequently changing addresses. We intend to discover some hidden treasures and immense talents enroute.
