Hey there. This blog has been finished for 11 years so there's obviously no new content, but it occurs to me that many people use mobile these days so a lot of the links might not be visible to them as it would be if the blog were viewed the way I originally laid it out. So for their sake:
Posts by month, in chronological order:
January February March April May June July August September October November December
This page will let you search individual dates
Tags for each game she's in:
Wild Arms 3 Wild Arms Alter Code: F Wild Arms 4
And this page links to where other people have recorded Armengard's quotes as text. They deserve credit for their work, especially since I used their transcriptions as a way to have to avoid having to write all of the quotes out when I posted the screenshots.
And as a final, kind of weird note, it's officially socks day! And, more importantly, I was finally able to get the screenshots for Armengard's Wild Arms 3 dialogue that I failed to get 12 years ago. For whatever reason the emulator would freeze up when I talked to her on this day. The ps4 version doesn't have that issue.
So, uh... en...enjoy? (It's definitely an odd one even by her standards.)
Today is March 13, Socks Day. In a recent poll, young women were asked what they would do if their boyfriend sniffed his own socks? 75% answ
There was this weird thing in the ps2 version of Wild Arms 3 where the game's clock never quite matched the system's. The clock on the floor of Infinitum was never right and if I talked to Armengard too late in the day she'd give me tomorrow's holiday.
I think I might've thought something was wrong with my ps2 when I was a teenager, but it happened on the emulator when I was an adult too. I had to fuck around with the computer's clock to get the emulated version to give me the screen shots for @dailyarmengard a few days ahead and I noticed then too if I didn't make sure the clock was earlier in the day she was giving me the next day.
I can't remember for sure now but I think acf and wa4 might've suffered something similar, but it was harder to notice since she didn't tell you what day it was. But I had compared what she said on certain days to non-screen shot archives people had made of her quotes to make sure they were the right day just in case.
I made it to Boot Hill in the ps4 version yesterday. She said what she was supposed to, even when I checked back again later. The clock on the floor of Infinitum was accurate once I finished the fire puzzle. It's such a weird thing but after bothering me for years it's nice to have it be accurate finally.
Oh hey! It's that weird palette swap Armengard from Alter Code F!
