#armada lion

When I find or receive a recommendation for a book published decades ago, I literally go out of my way to find the oldest reasonably priced copy I can. So pleased I found this 70s print of "Elidor". I love the Armada Lions line with their cool cover art. I'd never even heard of this novel until a young author mentioned it in an online article recently and I have fallen in love with the prose, it makes my heart sing and it's really inspiring to think you can achieve a lot without massive chunks of text and that children's books are sometimes written better than adult fiction:
