I am a tired rambling VT tonight.
I can’t sleep so I’m building, and I’ve finished another couple of lots which I forgot to take screenshots of. They turned out really pretty, I think, even if the one I’m proudest of turned into a spider web in hood view and I had to go back in and cut down on the number of flowers. I will be posting tours of those completed lots at around reasonable o’clock GMT. :)
Also, I’ve been thinking about a side hood (again) and have just been putting off both building and going to sleep by trawling through my CC folder looking for stuff to put in that hood. The basic concept is that it’s sort of a supernatural focused reverse-legacy: I’ll start with ten founding households, all different lifestates. The goal will be to reach a point where there is one sim who’s a descendant of all ten families and is all the lifestates at once. I’ll be using Hereditary Supernaturalism by @midgethetree but not allowing other mods to transform sims; also, no townie/NPC sims can move into the hood at all. As it’s kind of the opposite of a legacy, I call it an armacy challenge - credit to my aunt for the name. It’ll still require download cutting and building, so Kulo Seeri takes priority for now... but I’m excited about this idea right now.
At the moment I am kind of on a challenge-concept kick. I’ve been looking at my list of all the challenges in the Great Library (aka the two blue crates by the side of my computer desk, both filled with challenge printouts) and coming up with ways to combine elements of different challenges I like. Other concepts in the pipeline include a challenge I can play in Kulo Seeri involving my elemental trait lists, a female-centric challenge that does NOT involve a nonsensical number of babies, and a less ableist take on those challenges where you only have one controllable sim.
Sleep-deprived ramble over, for now. Time for bed...
