It had been a boring day for Strange in the Asylum. He had a mountain of paper work that he was avoiding like the plague. He left the office as soon as he couldn’t take it anymore. He walked down the hall, whistling a tune to himself as he made his way to the new Wardens office.

He was wondering how he was settling in. He was hoping that all his plans worked. It was hard work getting rid of Sharpe. He sighed to himself and hoped that all Valentine had promised would come through. He needed money for this old shit hole. 

What the hell am I thinking. Hugo sighed to himself as he stood infront of Dr. Read. It was time he set his plan into action, even though he was partly questioning his sanity on this one. He had had a brain wave where Joker and his Harley were concerned. To destroy something, you have to understand it. 

“Alright Dr. Read, I have a task for you...” he cleared his throat. “I need you to take a case...basically...we are delving deep into the confusing love between The Joker and Harley Quinn....I knew Quinn...she was a former employee of mine and a brilliant doctor...” he slipped and mentioned his fondness of the mad woman.  He sighed again, he seemed tensed and strained. 

“I need you to have a session with the two of them...since divided they are much less....cooperative..” he chose his words carefully. The reality was that Harley could become a depressive wreck and the Joker was just more violent than usual. “What I need you to get is specific..and of course...since you’re a woman you are far more capable of this..couples therapy..so to speak. “ he gave a wink. It was no joke that Hugo could be a bigot at times.

“I need you to get into their minds..see what makes their relationship work..why they..love eachother..why they are with eachother.” he needed to know. Maybe if Joker admitted it to a shrink, that he was using Harley, she might see the light and become more open to help..

Strange had gotten word that The Riddler had been recaptured. When he heard this over his buzzer he sighed heavily. He loathed Nygma entirely. He got some coffee, smoked a cigarette, stalled for as long as he could, before he walked to the wing where Nygma was being held for his introductory beating. 

Unfortunately, Hugo had missed it with all his stalling. Damn, I would have love to see that..again. He had hoped that the guards gave him an extra hard beating for his escape. He also just hated Nygma. He could never figure out his riddles and Nygma delighted in this, berating Hugo as stupid, and he was far from it. 

Strange was sat in the main staff coffee area, it was mainly a place for the staff to make their coffee and go sit in the canteen. It had a coffee machine, kettle, fridge, counters and presses and a small table. He was humming a song to himself as he stirred his coffee. He had been having a bad day. He was stressing out over reports and files. He was sick of the complaints flooding in from patients, the snarls of Prison guards to had to transport the criminally insane here. It didn’t help that it was raining and the entire place had a tense and sombre mood. He sighed and finished making his coffee, taking a much needed sip.
