Ouch, that would’ve hurt!
Now, as I’ve stated several times over again, going into Arkham as a 1st time offender, I was SCARED TO DEATH, and looking back I’m sure the other more hardened patients knew this, I hardly spoke to anyone, spent most of my time in my cell, didn’t shower with the other female inmates, etc.
So one day, for some reason I found myself being forced to go into the rec room with the other women, and this was obviously my worst nightmare, I walked over & sat on the old sofa, and dug my fingernails deep into the arm, and cushion, and I’m also reasonably sure I was physically shaking. The guard steeped behind a door, for something, yeah, I know, “top notch security”, and two of the more notorious inmates, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn slid over next to me on the couch, and begin to mock me, “aww, is the whittle doll scared?”, Harley mocked, “The Nuthouse is no place for a little babydoll”, Poison ivy joked, before saying, well little doll, you’re here now, so you might as well get used to it, this place is gonna be a part of you for life, in fact, i gasped as she produced a sewing needle, “I think we need to make her a bit more authentic, whad’ya think, Harls?”, Ivy said, “yeah, help her fit in better”, harley said, pulling out a broken ink-pen cartridge.
I now knew what was going on, they were about to try to give me a prison tattoo, “um, that’s okay, I’m just fine, I’ll dry it up.” “Oh, we insist, they said, as one of them pulled up the back of my shirt and held me down, while the other brought the needle down towards the skin of my back.
“No, no, please no, don’t stick me, I hate needles!”, I squealed
“Aww, don’t you wanna be one of us, they giggled.”
“Help, help, help!”, I screamed, hoping that the guard would hear me, and on a lucky shot, she did, two guards rushed in and pulled them off of me, just as they were about to pierce my skin, who knows what kind of awful diseases I could’ve gotten from that filthy sewing needle & pen ink, and that has to have been the scariest experience I’ve ever had.
