Hi MJ, I lost all hope, so maybe you or your followers can help me. I've been playing Jaws of Hakkon and not saving properly, only quicksaves. And then suddenly I can't load anything from JoH, not even autosave. My last save that is working is from before unlocking the area. The saves are still listed in the menu and they are not listed as corrupted. I haven't encoutered that bug while googling, but maybe some ancient one in uthenera can help me to find a way to restore the saves? :(
hello lovely Nonnie, I’m sorry to hear of your game troubles : [ what happens when you try to load a JOH save? and what platform r u on if I may ask? do you have any mods installed? sometimes mods fuck with the DLCs. I’ve had saves listed as corrupted before but never had a save which wasn’t listed as corrupted not be able to load :S if you’re on PC using Origin, have you tried going into your Game Library, right-clicking on the game and using the Repair Game option? iirc there is also an option on Origin somewhere “restore last save”. it’s not the same thing, but I once accidentally deleted an Inquisitor and used a file recovery software called Recuva and got most of my saves for them back (thanku again @ariamagpie I still remember!!) - I wonder if that might be of any use?
