THANK YOU!!

First of all, regardless of your acceptance or not, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all who applied! There were so many amazing characters that we had the privilege to meet, and out of 37 applications, and 30 applicants, we only had the room to accept 9 skeletons, and 3 OCs this time around. We really appreciate everyone who took the time to write an application and send it in, some of you waiting the full two weeks, and some of you only a few hours. Reading through these applications has been a real treat, and we wish that we had room for all of you.

Unfortunately, at this time only one skeleton remains open - the Stranger. If you applied for this role, or didn’t have a chance to apply, The Stranger, in addition to one OC slot remains open! We’re willing to hear some fresh apps or revisions for those. 

Again, thank you so much. You’re all amazing writers. ❤  

Since we had such sheer numbers when it came to applications, we won’t be messaging people personally, but if anyone not accepted would like feedback on their application, we’re more than happy to send feedback upon request!

NEW MEMBERS:

Over the weekend, a number of pages will be updated as soon as we can. Pages likely won’t be updated completely until the late afternoon. So pardon our dust, as the saying goes. If you were accepted, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could double check that all information that we’ve transposed is correct!

We’ll also be sending out the link to the OOC blog via messenger once your URL has been sent in - which - won’t be the traditional method! Stay tuned for instructions on how to send in your URL! A post regarding that will be posted shortly.

Hey guys! Just wanted to pass a few words on to you guys as Acceptances draw nearer! 

First of all, we can’t BELIEVE how much attention and love all our skeletons have received so far! We’re honored that these characters and our group would receive such attention this early on. Its been a total delight reading through the applications we’ve received so far - and will no doubt continue to read until the app box closes. 

Of course, there are only a very limited amount of spots that we have open, and when it comes down to it, we’ll have to make some difficult choices in picking the applications we feel best represent their skeletons. 

Given the sheer numbers of applications that we’ve received, we will unfortunately not be sending out personal messages by default. If in the case that you are not accepted, we’re more than happy to provide reasons why if you send in a message!    

No matter your verdict, we want to say a tremendous thank you to all those who applied. You guys are amazing!

Box closes on Dec. 30th. 8pm PST (GMT -8).

Hey guys! Hope you’re all doing well. As the holidays approach and we’re all likely to bounce around between activities, here’s a couple reminders of some various things to take note of. 

The last day to submit applications is December 30th @ 8 PM (PST/GMT -8) !

Acceptances will be posted the following day, on December 31st. 

Accepted players will have until January 2nd to send in their character URLs; opening activities will commence on that day.

In Regards to Acceptances...

Please keep in mind that we will not fill a role simply because there are auditions for a role, or that there is no competition for it! As we have previously stated, it is our goal to create a small creative community. With this goal in mind, we will only be accepting players that we believe will mesh well together in a creative environment and who we believe have the best grasp on the character they are applying for. 

But don’t fret! If you are not accepted, that isn’t the end! 

If you are not accepted, we will -- on request -- send notes as to why you weren’t accepted and how to improve your application. If changes are made and the role is still open, we would be more than happy to go over your application at a later acceptance date!

This here is Chey typing a goodnight message for the both of us. Y’all have been a ball of fun today, and thanks to any that dropped by! Whether it was to peruse the game, drop an ask or two, chat with us about a character idea, or even drop off an app (5!! On the first day!) - thanks for spending some of your weekend with us!

You guys are fabulous and we can’t wait to see what else you guys bring toward us in the next two weeks.

Read this before you submit your app! 

It has tons of important information regarding what you can do to make your app standout. It also has important dates to be aware of regarding the application process. In general, even if you think you may have your app in the bag, reading that page wouldn’t hurt. 

Same goes for the rules page. 

The submit can be found here. 

ALWAYS ALWAYS save your application on a word doc, or google doc - something before sending it into the void. 

When you send in your application, we will send you private confirmation that we have received it, as well as updating the app count page with skeleton archetype + your chosen fc. If you do not see or receive either of these methods of verification within 2 days of you sending it in, you may want to send us an ask to verify for yourself if your app arrived safely.

Feel free to start thinking about your apps! For those that are considering OCs, please try to avoid any excessive overlaps with existing skeletons! (Also: remember to speak with an admin about your OC concepts before applying.)

Received a couple of asks regarding some OCs - if you’re one of those people, don’t worry, I got the Qs. Just waiting to hear back from my partner in crime before I message you guys back. 

If anyone else lurking about has any questions, don’t hesitate to shoot them our way! 

Tomorrow we’ll be posting the last open skeleton in addition to the ones that we, the mods, will be taking up. 

Sunday we’ll post two sample applications as well as opening the submit box for applications.

If you plan to submit more than one application, see this on how to format the second one. Keep in mind, if accepted, it’ll only be for one role.

Reserves may be placed, but they only last 24 hours, so bear that in mind. December 29 is the last opportunity to place reserves. 

December 30 the submit box will be closed and unfulfilled reserves will be void. Kat and Chey will be going over applications that day.

December 31 is acceptances.
