We are expected to make it to Mars, in person, in just a few more years. We have sent satellites to the outer edges of our solar system. We can send information to space and then back to anywhere on earth in under a second. We can clone animals. Splice, bond, and create new breeds of plants and animals. Practically, anything we can think up, we can do. We are fucking fascinating.
I just hope that before I die, humans find other advanced life forms, and I can witness our first contact with aliens.
The look on their faces when they realize we did these things before overcoming racism will be just goddamn hilarious.
