HB 215, sponsored by Delegate Cluster, proposes to make a double standard for handgun permit renewals.  For most Marylanders, the handgun permit renewal period of 3 years.  For retired law enforcement, this bill proposes to make the renewal period 5 years.  Items in CAPS are proposed changes to current Maryland code.
