Avaine has been a student now for almost a year in Dalaran, learning a plethora of new things about the world. For such short lived races, the humans are incredibly curious and daring to find the limits and horizons of the known world, both physical and magical. And the books, by the Naaru, so many books! How did these humans have all the time to write all these?
Avaine was currently enjoying some downtime, having done with the exams just the other week, and now had almost 3 months of vacation. She was doodling some things on her block pad, trying out a new feather pen she got, which was capable of changing the color of the ink!
Her mind was elsewhere when her mentor arrived and plopped into the seat across from her with a sigh. Avaine jolted a little at the sudden appeareance of Vargoth âKeleos! Master, you startled me.â Avaine pouts softly and frowns at the brown-haired human. Vargoth chuckles with a soft grin, playing with his beard idly âIâm sorry darling, I did not mean to interrupt my favorite student.â
Avaine rolls her eyes as she sets down the pad and the feather pen âI am your *only* student, Master.â The man laughs warmly with a broad grin.
âWhich ergo makes you my favorite. Now, Miss Terrakosta, with you having completed your exams for the College, what do you say to a little adventure, eh? Being cooped up here in the City for a year without leaving its confines can drive some us a little mad.â
Avaine gives a little smirk "I have noted that Master." Vargoth looks a lottle confused before laughing warmly yet again.
"You wound me Miss Terrakosta! But in all seriousness," Vargoth leans forward onto the table, ghost of a smile hidden behind his thick beard, "where would you like to travel to? Given all the history and encounters you've had over the school year, is there any place you'd want to visit?"
Avaine ponders a little, her head tilted to the side, staring blankly into the note pad before her. "Lordaeran. I wish to see the Human capital."
Vargoth takes a second before sighing deeply, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh vey. That isn't Alliance territory my dear student,, but I think with some invisibility spells and su-"
"We won't need to Master. I have a friend who will be our guide and guard while we are there. We don't even need to use any spells, just wear our Kirin Tor garbs and-" Avaine is already packing up some items into her satchel before Vargoth waves his hands rapidly.
"Wait wait wait. What friend??"
"Oh, I thought I told you?"
".... Who is your friend?"
"Overlord Tyran Redblade."
