The turian had found his way to a rooftop. Specifically the rooftop of the dwelling he’d been assigned. Altitude always put this into perspective and a little bit of peace. He stared down at the pitiful plastic toy rifle in his grasp. The glare of the light in the plastic surface taunted him. With all of the confusion of how he ended up here and how he could possibly get back to those he cared about most.
“What good’re you gonna be in a real fight, huh?”, he asked the toy, tone dry and talons tapping across the plastic. He waited for a response, before realizing that this was a toy gun (also, “Toy” gun? A scary concept.) and worrying for his state of mind. Isolation hadn’t seemed too hard in the past. What had changed? Again his mind supplied ‘wait for a response’ when there was no one there to give one besides the outside world and his replica rifle.
