The ghoul raised his coffee cup, but he did not take a drink. He merely observed the subtle ripples along the surface of the liquid in response to the motion, the stark contrast of the white of the inside of the cup against the coffee's shade.

"I merely thought it was worth it to extend the privilege, but if you do not care to have it, then I'll take it back." he informed the youth, at last sampling the caffeinated beverage he was holding.

How William had somehow managed to have the misfortune to end up as Ciel's glorified babysitter was beyond him. The university student had better things to do with his time than entertain him -- at least most of the time. The younger ghoul could be a terribly spoiled brat, but they did share a few opinions, at least.
