A dark look had now crossed his features and crimson eyes were fixed angrily on the horizon. They could have taken them in a fight. They had a large guard, many with special gifts and all trained constantly. Not to mention he and Aro both had many years of experience in fighting as well. I do not think Marcus is really hating anybody. He doesn’t like anybody as well. He is just not really caring enough about  things, or people, around him that he could bring odium on them. The only person who is worth his hate would probably be the one who took away his love. But it is really hard to hate something you do not know. And I think that is something that let him become this absent, that brought him to his current state. Because he hasn’t anything he could put his anger, there is no one he could blame, no one to hate. Beside himself for not being with her.
