first impression: i felt sad for marinette because her rival love interest wasn't uh up to the task. i loved kagami immediately because bossy outwardly cold girl with a sword duh, while luka felt like a comedic character to me, with all his guitar chords and love confessions that sound like pick-up lines he tried on 20 other girls. i thought he was laughable, basically, and i didn't think much about him.

impression now: i am willing to receive one chloe bourgeois #redemption arc in exchange for luka to be written out of the show. this is the first time a fandom has ruined a character for me, but on the other hand, i felt like there was never anything to be ruined? he could've been a great character, but on top of being bland, he was also like marinette's loyal pet, which i disliked. sadly him being the go-to character of adrien salters also impacted my opinion.

favorite moment: i thought he was finally mature and wise, as the canon tries to shove down out throats, in wishmaker when he gave advice to adrien and marinette. it was the most profound thing he'd ever said and it was actually really sweet. first time in the show i liked him.

idea for a story: he goes on tour with jagged stone and they do some nice father-son bonding by being high on weed the entire tour for the ~~creative juices to flow. marinette sends care packages and he eats, like, 20 macarons in a row because he got the munchies.

unpopular opinion: i'm not sure how popular or unpopular this is, but what lukanette had going on was very unhealthy for him specifically. not that healthiness is something that interests me in ships... it's just my impression.

favorite relationship: i'm kind of not invested in any? i like lukadrien, but i can ship adrien with a cactus. luka and chloe seems to have some sort of potential for me, even as a platonic dynamic. i read one fic about luka and lila and i wasn't the same ever since.

favorite headcanon: luka is the type of person to say that he doesn't want to learn music theory because it would ~~clash with his creativity, and adrien's eye twitches every time he hears that. his favorite beatle is john but he says that it's ringo to look more interesting.
