I think this scene is so overlooked, honestly I believe it shows a large part of who Caitlyn really is. It’s very easy to paint her as a bad person because of her actions in season 2 - which while they aren’t excusable, were very largely driven by grief. Her relationship with her mother may not have been portrayed as them being as close as people would like to see, but scenes like this show us that Caitlyn is almost as much of a lover as Vi is, and people never really acknowledge that.
This scene specifically shows a lot of the compassion Caitlyn has. She doesn’t know this man, aside from the fact that he knows Vi, and he’s struggled with shimmer usage. But when he helps her, she sees past that and recognizes the good person underneath due to him being willing to help her help Vi (and don’t even get me started on what that says about Caitlyn’s feeling towards Vi at this point 🤭)

Arcane fans are the most hypocritical fans I have ever seen, it's both annoying and funny to see these people pretending to understand the characters when they don't understand anything at all, they are literally hypocrites from the way they talk, I mean when I saw some of them criticizing Caitlyn's actions towards Jinx, well shouldn't we also criticize Jinx's actions towards Caitlyn? Or when they say that Caitlyn hurt Vi oh well Jinx did that too in ep 9 of S1 when she psychologically tortured Vi. (It is so weird that they criticize the actions of characters, even though there are other characters who do exactly the same thing and no one criticizes them) Or bc Cait is an enforcer and an adult she shouldn't be traumatized, but Jinx can do whatever she wants. Jinx literally showed no mercy towards Caitlyn at all in S1, and Cait didn't do anything to her during that time. So it's natural that Cait would be mad at Jinx. So I don't know why some people get upset when Caitlyn yelled at Jinx in ep 8 and that Caitlyn treated Jinx badly. Well, Caitlyn has every right to be mad at her, bc as I said Jinx didn't show mercy to Caitlyn in the S1, and after all this finale we see Caitlyn let go of her anger and forgave Jinx. She allowed Vi to free Jinx knowing that Vi would probably run away with Jinx and leave her.
So in the end both Caitlyn and Jinx make mistakes and neither is better or worse than the other. So when I see people generally accepting a character's actions and then another character doing exactly the same thing they don't accept it. That shows that they are hypocrites, and it's worse when they make these childish excuses like Caitlyn is an enforcer, Caitlyn is an adult, and she is rich. What does all this have to do with a character not being traumatized and losing control. (trauma is trauma no matter what idiots). I mean if Caitlyn was from Zaun would you accept her bad actions or what!?
And btw I want to make a point that I don't hate Jinx and I don't accept all of Caitlyn's actions, but I understand them, just as I understand Jinx's actions. And the show from the beginning wants to show you flawed characters who make mistakes and not heroic characters who do good things all the time.
