((Journal thing for my dumb horse))
Arbor has always been causing mixed feeling with me. On one hoof, he sometimes acts as a paranoid jerk, while wielding amazing magical power, multiplied by years of practice and immense knowledge. A recipe for disaster.
But on the other hoof, beneath the jerkiness hides the heart of gold. The same stubborness that drives me up the wall also lets him remain resilient and loyal to his own cause. It’s something I can respect.
And dear Goddesses, doesn’t he have a reason to be paranoid… even those misadventrues I know of would be enough, and I bet there are some that I have no idea about.
Besides, it’s his stubborness and barely hidden hostility towards Lady Moon that allow him to play a very important role in our little circle. I think he can be a moral guardian of sorts, calling all of us out should our loyalty towards Lady Moon overwhelm our sense of right and wrong.
I hope I’ll never end up facing him off in battle.
