2. What is your most recent purchase?

I ordered a LOT at the beginning of the year around my birthday, so I’ll just show off all that 😭

I saved up a bunch (and got an early birthday present) so I could focus on other j fashion pieces of my wardrobe! Mainly jirai/girly lol but this year I focused more on pieces I needed like blouses.

5. Did you get any pieces off of your wishlist?

Those two chocolate blouses were two things I could knock off of my list and they’re SO comfortable! 10/10!

6. What is your favorite coord of the year?

Probably this one because it was the first time I was able to coord my BTSSB piece the way I wanted to! And the first time I was able to wear a blouse + skirt combo without the buttons busting open cause of my chest LOL. I think I look rather darling in navy and brown, no?

13. Goals for next year?

- get a chocolate coat AT LEAST it’s been fucking years and I’m COLD

- start adding pink to my wardrobe and more pastels

- find matching headpieces to certain dresses (honeycake, strawberry loves chocolate, etc.)

- add more solid pieces (mainly a pink jsk and a black jsk)

- start wearing OPs

5. What’s something you do to feel more confident in lolita?

I think for the most part, it's picking pieces I feel good in! I know enough about my personal tastes now that even if I think a pink main piece is really cute, I won't feel as comfortable in it since I prefer the way I look in other colors. I feel most confident in greens, blues, and blacks! :)

11. Have you or would you ever own multiple cuts/colorways of a main piece?

Absolutely! I own two cuts/colors of Rabbit Cafe by Meta, a skirt in yellow and the OP in mint, and 2 releases of Meta's Card Playing Kitty/Wonder Card, the Ivory apron JSK and the more recent sax tuxedo front JSK! I would probably get other colorways/releases of either of these tbh.

Another piece I wouldn't mind owning in two colors is Baby's Kuma Kumya's Marine Island probably in mint, I have the navy right now and love it :)

16. Have you read any good books lately? Or are there any books on your to-read list?

I'm in between books right now and the last book I read I did not enjoy LOL, but it was for a book club. Blood at the Root is one I'm going to pick up soon, it's been on my to read list for a little now!

Neglected manuscript - Do you have a favorite novel?

My favorite is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. As a child it left quite a strong impression. It continues to be a favorite that I can read over and over. Though Perfume by Patrick Suskind might also become another favorite.

Peeling wallpaper - Write about a memory.

Only because I recalled this memory recently: In 4th grade my teacher would hand out stickers for us to put on our homework folders. She brought in a new sticker book from a painter that was filled with ballerinas, scenes, and bathing women. Me being the devilish little scoundrel I am, immediately wanted the bathing beauties. In the end it worked out for my favor, because my class of 90% girls ended up taking all the ballerinas and scenes. To my teacher’s horror, I took a bathing sticker, and she immediately demanded I give it back.

Proceeding to panic, she noted how they are “inappropriate”. I remember staring at her for a long time, looking at the sticker, looking back at her and blurting out, “That’s ridiculous. There’s nothing wrong with painted nudity. The female body is beautiful”. Based on her wide eyes and gaping mouth, I guess she wasn’t prepared for that reply.

1. What is your dream piece?

I have several but for right now it is probably the Antique Chocolaterie switching in navy! I love love love chocolate prints and this is definitely one of my favs!

2. What was your first piece?

It was actually a sailor set that I got years and years ago

It is called The Brave Navigator by Fantastic Wind! Funnily enough, while I was looking for an image I saw my listing of when I sold this LOL

4. What lolita staple do you love or consider completely necessary?

That's a bit hard... but I cannot live without my little strawberry bag. It just fits with so much and goes with a ton in my wardrobe! I'm still working on adding to my wardrobe so it may change later on. But over all, I love any type of themed bag. I think that without a fun bag, your coords are just missing something! Everyone needs a fun iconic bag! Bags in general are super necessary for going out and having a good sturdy bag makes life easier.
