Lanny - answered

Salinne - astrology and star-charting, finding new things, eating new things, getting sick from eating too many new things… She enjoys traveling and seeing new things, and all the adventure that comes with it. It’s more or less her hobby.

Lanfear shrugs. “I’m not young - why pretend that I am? I am quite intrigued by how social interactions have evolved and changed - sometimes it seems that the youth of today speak a wholly different language. I think that is wonderful. Whatever the trends, they seem to enjoy themselves.”

She pauses, and then: “Though I will say that I do enjoy keeping an eye on how clothing has changed and developed over time. I daresay I would look good in a few of these newer styles…”

Salinne snorts smoke, grinning a big mouthful of teeth. “Hip? No one says that sort of dumb shit anymore.” She thrusts both thumbs at herself, puffing out her chest. “I’m the coolest thing there ever was, and if you don’t agree then you can meet me in the fuckin’ pit and I’ll show you!”

Lan is the type of person who thinks of others as friends but is pretty sure none of them think the same of her. When it comes down to it, to Lan, in the end she’s pretty sure all her friends will abandon her and she’ll have to face her abyss on her own.

Salinne just met you. You are now her friend. Yeah, you, over there? Friend. That guy? Friend. This orc? Friend. This demon trying to take over Azeroth? Friend Who Needs A PUNCH IN THE FACE.

It takes a real long time for Aralare to make friends but once you’re her friend wow, she’s real devoted. She’ll buy you that expensive thing you’ve been wanting for no occasional reason and just. Give it to you. Just for being her friend, no other precepts required. Feriarus on the other hand has no friends but Arry. He wants no new friends, either. He will go out of his way to not make friends.

Singing Sunflower - Can your character play any instruments? Can they sing?

Lan can read music, and she can make an OK pass at some instruments, but she isn’t good by any stretch and she can’t sing, either. Her knowledge of music is educational at best. The most she knows is how to dip her head and mumble so it sounds like she’s singing, but that only worked when she was alive and sang prayers with others.

Salinne can’t play any instruments, but she can sing - but you’ll most likely find her being drunk and singing bawdy tavern songs rather than anything elegant or proper. Her instruments of choice are her feet stamping and her hands clapping, which sometimes results in something being set on fire.

I RP! I’ll answer for all of them:

Salinne would hate to lose any of her senses, but the one she could eventually part with is her hearing. Taste, touch, smell, sight… there’s a lot of richness in the world, but Salinne would be able to cope without hearing some of it.

Aralare could manage without her sight very well. She learned to hunt in the dark elven woods, where sight could often be tricky - her other senses are extremely sharp and would be able to cope easily. The same goes for Feriarus.

Arry

2 - Their emotional/moral weak spots

Arry will teeter on the edge of physically attacking someone or simply bursting into tears on the spot if they begin yelling at her or threatening to hurt her - double points if they’re someone she knows or trusts. You won’t get that trust back. Morally, Arry knew stealing and whatnot was wrong - but they had to to live. Now that they have a “job” that “pays”, looking back on that period or being otherwise reminded of it makes Arry feel pretty horrible about herself.

Feri is a gigantic furball of emotional and moral weak spots, let’s be real here.

10 - Fears/Phobias

Yelling, raised fists, and generally any sort of angry behavior outside of combat make Arry jumpy. Arry’s gotten really good at detecting that sort of atmosphere and getting the hell away from it. She’s getting better but sometimes it’ll just creep up and surprise her.

Feri is much the same, but he gets aggressive in that sort of atmosphere, and there’s no signs that he’s getting better. He’s rather afraid of horses and other hooved creatures, since one kicked him in the head once. It wasn’t pleasant and he nearly died. He avoids them like the plague.

18 - Things they’ll never admit

Arry and Feri will never, ever, openly admit about hearing Old God voices. If they are forced to, sure - but they’ll guard that secret to their deaths because they know it will probably be the last thing they say or do. Even though it wasn’t their fault, it’s just something they have a massive lock on, and thankfully Feri cannot articulate the fact that he hears them more clearly and more often than Arry does.

Arry will also never admit to sneaking onto the ship sometimes when no one’s around, just to feel the deck rocking beneath her feet. Secretly, she loves it and can’t wait until she and Feri are allowed on board. She wishes she hadn’t insisted on staying on land, even if it was for Feri’s comfort.

Sometimes Arry wishes that Feri wasn’t her responsibility but shhh don’t bring that up because it’ll make her blubber like a baby.

Salinne

2 - Their emotional/moral weak spots

Treating Salinne like a child is a quick way of bruising her ego. She’s done just fine all on her own so far, geez! Let up! Calling her Saligosa just reminds her of being chastised by her parents and thus can make her dig her heels in like a mule.

Morally Salinne is still figuring it out - she sees no problem in people getting the justice they deserve, and often figures herself above the law in certain cases. For just as many places as she’s helped she’s been chased out for setting the wrong person’s pants on fire. She’s young. She’ll figure it out.

10 - Fears/Phobias

Salinne fears losing a lot of her independence. Joining the Concilium made her give some up, sure, but she’s still got a lot left and she wants to hang on to it for as long as she can. She’s a free spirit and she doesn’t want anything - or anyone - tying her down for very long.

She doesn’t like spiders. Nerubians creep her out. Both are on the top of her “instantly set on fire” list.

18 - Things they’ll never admit

That Xanthir intimidated her. That anyone intimidated her. She’s strong and independant and she’s a dragon - she’s not allowed to be bullied and pushed around! She will also never admit to actually wanting the order and structure and companionship of the Concilium.

2 - Their emotional/moral weak spots

Lan’s got plenty if you know where to look and what to look for - nearly any slight twitch of her face could mean that what you said affected her. One thing that really twists her up inside though is the thought of young people disappearing or dying. She just can’t take that and it will result in tears, privately or otherwise.

Lan’s a soldier and was raised a priest so her morals are pretty standard and boring for most things. Occasionally she’ll dip into the darker areas, but generally she’s pretty neutral on most respects. In life, fun sexy times were her moral crack but right now Lan has pretty much pushed that aside for the moment to focus on just… existing.

I mean, you could count going on murderous, blood-lust-fueled rampages a moral weak spot but I think that might be nitpicking.

10 - Fears/Phobias

One of the biggest things Lan fears is being unable to control her own self - to watch as her hands perform movements she didn’t tell them to do - to be a puppet again.

That being said, she really doesn’t like puppets.

18 - Things they’ll never admit

She doesn’t really know any of them too well to really judge! To her, they’re still a lot of mysterious druids who are way older than she or Feri. She’s a little skittish of interacting thanks to her long isolation.
