I feel like creating a new oc tonight hrm
Oooo maybe an Arak troll! It's a troll tribe I've been working on idly back and forth, they're known for being crafters and weavers who live in cliffs and deep tunnels. They're all spider-like with anywhere from 4-8 black, mirror-like eyes and having no less than four arms. Most Arak tend to have six to eight arms, there's been some Arak who've had over a dozen before! Sometimes an Arak troll can grow another pair of arms long into adulthood.
Arak are responsible for weaving most of the few fabrics trolls use, their homes are typically in such dangerous places most trolls can't ever visit. They live inside booby trapped tunnels, giant webs of ropes and woven bridges strung across deep ravines, woven tunnels that hang suspended from the ceilings of massive caverns; it's all up to the troll's preferences but most Arak prefer homes that can only be reached if your feet are miniature climbing hooks and you have lots of arms to climb with. Their sense of balance is incredible and they're not very strong but they are VERY maneuverable when climbing and are terrifying to most trolls. Funny, honestly, considering Arak are one of the less violent tribes of trolls out there.
Arak enjoy spiders, like, a lot. The physical resemblance is amusing to them and most Arak have pet spiders. Most of their fabrics are made out of a combination of spiderwebs and shredded vines they grow their own ropes out of. They don't actually create webs from their bodies so they have to make do, and no one quite knows how they make their fabrics so finely woven yet durable. After all most trolls are PRETTY demanding on their clothing, Arak fibers are some of the toughest that a troll can get.
My Oracle oc Virepa is actually an Arak, but they can't live among their own kind because randomly having your senses hijacked isn't good when you have the chance of literally walking off a cliff every five feet. Arak are really community based trolls and tend to have massive communal families living out of one nest.
Also, beware, because some Araks downright worship spiders and their nests are usually crawling with them. Or it could be their hoardes of children, either or. Hard to say sometimes!
