Resistance in the Arabic and Farsi speaking world against colonialism and white supremacy are righteous. Real international solidarity must include Arabic and Iranian people. We have to call out those who waste their breath demonizing our melanated siblings. We have to make it known that it’s the western military and its allies that are responsible for the bombing of children and the pollution of our planet. Globalize the intifada. I love how we use "mommy" and "dady" as terms of endearment to small children in Arabic!
"Mommy" could be used for children that aren't your own and small creatures like pets and such BTW!
The idea is that you are mimicking kids when the call their parents (esp their mom obv)
Like for example your kid could say "mommy, look at this drawing i made of you!" And you would respond with "yes mommy, let me see"
IDK if other languages do it too, but i find it really warm and cute 🥰
