Sit down, I have a tale. So we have Thelma and Louise, two lovely gal penguins, Thelma has ATTITUDE and Louise is a bit shyer. 8 years ago they met and bonded and they’ve been together ever since, spending 5 breeding seasons together even though their species usually finds a new partner each breeding season. NOT these girls. 

Thing is there’s an egg now that Thelma laid...drama. Was Thelma unfaithful? However, Louise is treating it like her own egg, incubating it and helping out and such so...now we wait until next year to see if the egg is fertile and if it is, who the dad is.

But for now, everyone’s looking at it as a Christmas gift to the couple, let’s hope these girls get a little chick to look after as their own!
