1. What makes you the most emotional about your muse?

// A... WHOLE LOT. I am very proud of my son for finding some crumbs of self worth, for somewhat earning his wings (hehe). I’m proud of him for developing positively. Like... his arc is a lot to do with self esteem, which is something I struggle with immensely. So it’s very cathartic to write that. 

But also... hnnnn. Fred is very stupid. And very self-centred and he doesn’t know it. A lot of what he does is very counterproductive to his progression and he thinks! He is helping!! But he’s not!! I get so mad at him for doing hurtful, stupid things for the sake of preserving his precious world view of Team Rocket being brilliant unconditionally. Like, a consistent thread in his thinking is not really considering the consequences of his actions as anything other than what he think will probably happen. He definitely has visions of the world in sunshine and rainbows (hehe) without really thinking that other people might not agree with his world view. And he’s not yet mustered the maturity to properly navigate when people don’t 100% agree with him. I know for a fact he is going to have to hurt a whole lot before he can really go anywhere with his life. And that... sad. 

9. Do you enjoy putting your muse through angst? What do you think would break their heart the most?

//*Looks directly into the camera*... *smiles*. YEAH I do. A lot of the time Fred deserves a bad time, and sometimes he doesn’t, but still gets it anyway!! But yeah, I love angst, I’m whore for hurt/comfort, or even just karma. I think the best stories have conflict and hurt in it UuU

// Ice type offers an interesting AU as well! Instead of settling near Oreburgh, his family instead ends up in Snowpoint City--which actually might have been somewhat likely since it was his dad’s hometown). Snowpoint has a lot of interesting points (aha pun), particularly in the Snowpoint Temple where Regigigas is rumored to slumber. It’s also a stone’s throw from Lake Acuity where Uxie supposedly sleeps.

Snowpoint Adrian I think would have more interest in Pokemon legends, like those of the Regis and the lake guardians (regice would be his favorite of course), alongside a fascination with the ancient pokemon of the past. I imagine even at a young age he tried to sneak his way into the temple despite one needing to have beaten the Pokemon League to gain access. I like to think he was successful once, and stumbled upon a slumbering, unmoving Regigigas which both frightened and intrigued him. Though, he likely needed rescuing since the pokemon in the area were more powerful than him. 

As such, this Adrian has more of an interest in ruins and old legends rather than just caves, though caves can easily be hiding ancient secrets themselves so he tends to explore them too from time to time. He’ll still end up in Hoenn due to its strong connection to the regis as well as rumors of their connection to the legendary pokemon present in the region. However, as a means of making money for his family he’d still join one of the region’s evil teams--just.. not Magma. Hoenn is hot enough, he doesn’t need to be living in a volcano! This is squarely an Aqua Adrian, who mostly joins for the paycheck and uses his free time (and team resources) to look into the ancient/legendary pokemon for his own interest. Heck, it’ll eventually lead him to the Crown Tundra in Galar because of it’s connection to the Regis.

His main would have begun as a swinub and evolved fully into mamoswine after unlocking the secrets of its history through ancient power. Aurorus would have been a fossil he had found and revived, another relic of the past. This Adrian is also more focused on ruins rather than just caves, though caves can easily be hiding many ancient secrets themselves. Glalie is more of a product of where he grew up, in that snorunts were everywhere and he’d quickly become a strong member of Adrian’s team.

He had been sitting by himself towards the entrance of the Aqua base, where he could look out over the ocean. He was probably looking a bit down, slightly slouched with a solemn expression. He did sit up a bit straighter as he noticed Vivian join him, looking away and subconsciously covering his mouth a bit with his hand--likely to hide that distinctive, still reddened bite mark on his lower lip. “H.. hey Vivian..” he greeted sheepishly.
