aoife ended up having complicated feelings about her, particularly because her backstory and motivation reminded her so much of how sorrel talks about aoife's mother... (and i did, briefly, have a "could apyaahi have been aoife's mother??" scare before quieting that thought lmao).

Apyaahi has no interest in participating in the social contract, insists that only her way of thinking is correct, and shows little care for those she might hurt in pursuit of her goals. She also shows no willingness to change her mind or entertain different viewpoints. Aoife knows that it's probably best for her to be in prison, somewhere she can be kept out of trouble. But seeing someone so concerned with freedom being put behind bars doesn't sit well with her either. There's probably a prison visit or two in Aoife's future lmao...
