adj. Appropriating; making, or tending to, appropriation.

I’m not sure if I’m the best person to ask this to tbh but here’s my take on it. 

I think it can be for sure.  White people who adopt the culture/dress/language of minorities are always walking a fine line.

I’ve noticed that a lot of white people who grew up in a predominantly minority area seem to believe that they are exempt from experiencing white privilege when that is not the case at all.  

They think because they grew up surrounded by that culture they are a part of it, which is frankly incorrect and offensive. No matter how many “black friends” you have, you will never be black and there needs to be recognition that they know there are some part of minority culture they will never be able to experience, such as prejudice, discrimination and racism.  

What many white people who appropriate another’s culture fail to realize is that they get all the “fun” parts of it without any of the backlash.
