“Quetzal...”  “Please just try it I think Inanna would think it amusing, don’t you girl?”  Inanna nudged Muriel and with a huff he picked up Quetzal without breaking a sweat.  “See was that so hard darling.”  “You were very insistent.”

"What would you do if you recovered your memories Quetzal?" "Hmmm I don't know, I haven't really thought of it and to be honest I'm not sure I want to Muriel," she replied without looking up at him. "I see."

She shrugged her shoulders fixing her furs around herself while she looked at the fire burning in front of her. She bit her thumb thoughtfully her eyes never leaving the flames. "I don't know what I would I do, even if I had my memories back. "Oh." "What if I was the lowest of the low and made many suffer. How could I live with myself knowing that."

"I think focusing on it would be pointless, there is no need for me to know my past," she mused resting her chin on her knees. "It really doesn't bother you?" He asked quietly and she nodded before smiling at the flames. "It hasn't defined me in a while and it surely won't now."  “What makes you so sure of that Quetzal?”

“Go to sleep Quetzal.”  She giggled moving close enough to kiss his arm and she grazed his arm with her nose, before placing a kiss on his bicep, “As for sleeping perhaps you should follow your own advice.”  “Fine.”
