This is my final image for the cross polarization image in the project 'the unseen'. I used two tub lids, two polarizing filter sheets ( one behind the objects and one on top of the objects, in front of the camera lens) I tilted the filter on top of the objects a little so that the background would be black instead of white. The colours in this image are really vibrant and intense and it really brings out the image. I feel like the composition is nice as well as it is, in a way, symmetrical on the diagonal as there is the exact amount of negative space on the top right corner and the bottom left. I like how it is not obvious at first sight what the subject is, it leaves the viewer wondering.

For an extra level of abstractness bring a second item even closer to the lens to make the whole image have a multi-coloured filter.

2. Low is fast, high is slow.- When setting up your flash, consider how high you turn your flash power. To get more power out of a flash gun at the higher power settings, a longer pulse of light will be emitted. this can have a huge effect on your photography because a longer pulse of light will result in less motion being frozen. To get the best results, use your flash on the lowest power. If you need more power, ass another flash.
