As long as you turn in an application before or at 11:30 PM EST today you will be accepted into the event. There is no skill requirement, just honest effort and respectable behavior/ frequent contact between you and your partners once we announce assignments. 

However, if we receive concerns about extreme aggressive/rude behavioral complaints or otherwise during the event we will decide as admins if you should be allowed to continue your participation. (This concern leans more towards when we check in to see how confidant partnerships are going.)

For confirmations, I personally try to send out emails with the subject line saying “Thank you (participant name registered with)!”. I will attempt to do same day replies today, but if you haven’t received one by tomorrow then I will do a quick confirmation.

If you feel if what you have is inadequate that is more than fine! Just a reminder to tag accordingly. I can also give you a number of other options if it’s to your interest.

First and foremost our applications and their contents remain private between us admins. If you feel shy enough not to post online, but comfortable to share it with us, then we will gladly look over your work! You can send in those unpublished works through attachments or links through Google Docs. Be free to add as little or as more as you like, as long as you have at least one or two examples of previous work it should be fine.

Hello anon! Don’t worry about your question being silly! We take every question seriously so we can help those who want to try this event have a better understanding of what they want to sign up for.

As for your question, you can sign up for any tier you wish and leave the confidant/partnership request blank so us admins can partner you up. If you later have any confidant requests while applications are still open send another email with your name, which tier you signed up for, and the person you’re interested in working with.

I suggest asking your intended requested partner beforehand in cases where they haven’t signed up or don’t have a spot available. Those who do mutual and early partnership requests will be partnered up early- but advised to keep this private until the day of confidant announcements on August 8. 

We would like applicants to prioritize any shukita or Persona 5 works. However, you may enter other past works if you feel that the few, or lack of, shukita and Persona 5 stories that you have isn’t enough to gauge your talents! Just make sure to tag fandoms and ships in applications. I’ll make a slight edit to the applications, thank you!

Thank you as well Krissey! If there are any concerns that your application wasn’t received to our event email then please send us your name, which tier you signed up for, and if you’re signed up as an artist or writer. I’ll look through our email inbox and sort through our current applications.

Otherwise, I’m personally sending out separate “thank you” emails (not replies to applications) at random times as a verification of sorts. Every email subject should have “Thank you (participant’s entered name)!”

Sorry anon! For an unexplained reason (blaming tumblr and glitches) your ask did not show up in the event’s inbox. Thankfully it reached the email notifications!

To answer your question- we will be closing applications within the final week of this month. A final date is being discussed due to scheduling hours between admins, and we need a unanimous decision from everyone.

As for acceptance, there are no rejections for the Shukita Big Bang. The event is a partnership event between artists and writers to create more content and release works at a certain date. For simplicity, an art/story exchange. When I have time I hope to put up a confidant rules and guidelines post soon to elaborate further. Thank you!

This means you would have to look through for any possible sensitive/graphic content beforehand then describe which links are for blogs or individual pieces.
