Rung’s getting a little more used to unsolicited inquiries about his frame and to being called a “robot” or “automaton” every other day. The comments and questions no longer set him on edge, but they do seem to speak to a general interest in mechanical life among the organics here in the city. ...and to a general lack of understanding.
This isn’t a class, exactly, despite Rung having gotten permission to host it on the University’s campus. It’s more of a casual Q & A, a way for Rung to help inform those interested in Cybertronian biology and culture and encourage them to share aspects of their own life with him.
Things have been going well so far at his little information table. It’s nice to teach others and to learn from them in turn, and the whole set-up does wonders for making the questions directed at him feel less like an interrogation and more like well-meaning curiosity. Rung’s actually beginning to enjoy himself.
“Good afternoon!” He says cheerily to his latest visitor. ...or visitors, rather-- it takes him another moment to notice the mechanical, and he waves to them both in turn.
“My name is Rung, and I’m here for a sort of-- cultural exchange? I’m trying to learn about the range of species represented among the city’s residents and answer any questions that I can about my own kind.” There’s little reason for the introduction; the purpose of his table is clearly stated in the promotional materials he’s put up around it. Still, it’s always possible that these two have simply wandered up and could use an explanation.
And it always pays to be polite.
“Is there anything I can do to help you? Anything you’d like to know?”
