Sorry for barging in unannounced but like I know the joke's been that it's obvious Yasper did it but I honestly super appreciate a well structured mystery with gradually-revealed clues the audience can pick up on and a satisfying payoff that rewards you for paying attention instead of just ~shocking the audience~. It was so funny and great characters but also just like, a well done mystery lol
yes! I really love that the show didn't try and go the easy route of having a character be the murderer simply for shock value but instead had each episode have little crumbs for viewers to pick up on as they tried to figure out who the murderer was before the reveal.
I am honestly not sure if I would had been as confident on who did it without seeing other people's theories. I know people caught on to who did it earlier on than may be expected but I do think that is the cost of having it be a murder mystery in a TV show format vs movie because you have more time to analyze every little thing each week vs all in one sitting so the "shock factor" is harder to pull off
