Journal 27: Freaked up Fiction
So I’ve stopped reality shifting. At least for the time being. I’ve started working with an African god of fiction. He’s kind of pushed me into, working with pop culture spirits. So far I’ve met the Doctor, Zantana, Raven, Odin from the thor series. My own bloody characters, and more. I have been roped into native legends and unfortunately for my fuking ass it means given how that native lore is told, I have to work with fiction and blend fiction and reality.
This also means that nobody on this big blue planet earth that nobody in their right mind will ever truly believe me. Apparently are fuking valid. According to the tribes I know, it’s like a “spirit animal” once you kin a character you can’t get rid of them as an aspect but they can reject the kin of you. Junko Enoshima is a weird one. She is...weird.
The thing about pop culture magick is that the second the story becomes real, it takes on a life of it’s own. It becomes living and breathing. That reality that universe is sentient. Things that were implied are real. They become “canon” shit that is never happened in the books or show happen off screen happen in their “reality”. The Egyptian gods want the fuking milianuim items to be fuking real and want to give me one for some fucked up reason but it won’t be as fucked as as that messed up show. Atem hates my guts. But um. I was let down by a lot of my heroes, let’s just say that.
In native lore and egyption lore there is no such thing as fiction. It’s an old concept. That’s when in some tribes writing is inherently evil. Or forbidden. All realities fictional ones are tied to this one it is the “concrete reality” so basically hypothetically for no apparent reason and example if this world were to end, so would all of theirs.
I guess that’s where I’m going with this. This is now where i’m taking all of my work. Good luck to me.
