there's no way you can convince me that Apollo doesn't have praise kink
and no, i'm not talking about him being praised β i'm more than sure he's pretty full of himself and this thing doesn't fit his vibe at all. i'm talking about him praising Hermes
you see, he likes to bring his lips very close to Hermes' ear, speak in a low but clear tone about how good he is being to him while they are in bed. Apollo showers the trickster with the sweetest and spiciest compliments you can possibly imagine, loving to see the younger god's embarrassed reactions, but also meaning it from the bottom (or maybe top) of his heart
it's cute, it's romantic and it serves to make their moment even better. i love the idea that, deep down, Apollo is a romantic who enjoys spending quality time with his lover and saying words of affirmation. it's definitely his two main love language types
Anytime people say Apollo canβt lie I die inside. I fully believe Apollo can lie. The gods might just believe what he says since heβs the god of truth but he can lie.
Unless heβs faced with Hermes god of lies but also it goes both ways because Hermes canβt lie to Apollo for he knows itβs not the truth.
