"Be honest...How do those boots stay on? I imagine lacing those would be hell with those gloves, but there's nothing but your feet keeping those things on. They gotta be Sketchers or something-" (@apollomarcel)
He's had enough out of the ordinary introductions before to not seem overly perturbed about a stranger inquiring about his shoes of all things. Granted, one as spiny as he does not ever look completely at ease either.
A gaze as gem hardened as it is deliberating swings briefly from inquisitor to the metal plated tops of his footwear, then returns a shade more perplexed than before.
"I know not of this 'Sketchers' of which you speak."
And he doesn't sound particularly enthused to find out. With a clink, he gives one of the plate buckles a tap with the peaks of his fist spikes, indicating the four corners seemingly screwed into place. It did appear that those needles for knuckles were the perfect shape to unscrew the bolts. Which begged the question of the shoe's potentially mechanical skeleton, and the titanium weight they would add to a foot strapped in place.
"They are screwed on, lest my feet muscles break free."
