Currently getting close to 9pm for me and I have a confession for you: when I was 9 I went on a camping trip to South Dakota with my mom and uncle (+ uncle's gf), and I really really wish I could remember it better because ohhhhh my god the stars in the night sky... I grew up near Tulsa, Oklahoma and I'd NEVER seen so many stars - and it wasn't even the darkest sky you can see! I was just so used to only seeing a few scattered specks of light in the sky, maybe the Big Dipper, and I'm SO sad I don't really remember what it looked like. I just remember the fact that there were So Many stars and they were so bright, and that we could hear coyotes howling in the distance too. It was amazing.
My number one dream is to visit Yellowstone or go on a stargazing ship out on the ocean one day to see the real night sky, Milky Way and all. Buuuuuh someday!
