Jude told Apollo about his encounter with Jamie.
When he finished the story, Jude felt guilty, like he was betraying Apollo, but the other, who didn't have a single bitter cell on his body, reminded Jude that, technically, his death hadn't been Jamie's fault.

Apollo ended the conversation when he climbed on top of Jude to kiss his lips and Jude, too weak for his own good, returned the kiss eagerly.

Jude had decided to trust Jamie, with everything that it entailed.
One of those things was that, now that he wasn't at risk of being attacked by him, Jude was finally free to leave Ravenwood.
