This should be a bit easier than the Christmas episode, since that was basically just a test run.
Also, Fred had way more fireworks now!
The Muggle ones were going to be set off first, as he wanted to see how they compared. The young wizard touched the tip of his wand to the fuses, then stepped back.
They were better than he expected, lighting up the sky just so. The noise caused a grin to spread across his face, a genuinely happy one. These were the fireworks his father took the family to see every once in a while, back when it was easier to sneak into the Muggle world.
It took a while to set them all off, so he sat back and watched the fireworks for himself, ignoring the "audience" below. They'll just have to deal with the noise.
Now he could use his own! The young wizard fished a few of his own fireworks from his pocket, then cooed at them.
"Rise and shine, lovelies~"
They responded by shooting up into the air and bursting into an array of colors, but instead of dissipating, they swirled around. This made it easier for him to mold into shapes.
With a few waves of his hand, walkers sprang up in firework form, only to burst into brilliant reds. Then he remembered someone requested cats, so he quickly fashioned a few from what was left.
Soft kittens, warm kittens, little balls of fur.
Happy kittens, sleepy kittens.
Purr, purr, purr.
Of course, their purring sounded a bit more like soft thunder, given the circumstances. Were he back home, he'd sign off with his name. There wasn't really a point to that today, since fireworks were his signature. A grin was left in the sky to fade, since the young wizard fell asleep after making the kittens.
Travis was wondering the woods one day, feeling alone and lost. He lost David and Ben again, of course they would meet back up at their normal camp but every time he got lost he always felt scarred. Especially with the fear of the bandit still fresh in his mind. He held his gun close just in case a walker or any thing else came close. After the incidents at his school gym he couldn't trust anyone and if he ever saw another ski masked man again, he was going to have hell to pay.
Speak of the devil, though this man wasn't masked he noticed that he had clothes like the bandits, save-lots type clothing. He raised his gun before the other male turned, he doesn't say a word he just inched his finger towards the trigger, "Who the fuck are you?" he says the anger that was boiling his blood obvious in his voice.
Oh, someone new? The words were said with a smile, but it couldn't be heard in the delivery. "For your sake, you better hope you aren't a bandit. My patience with them is wearing ever so thin~" Fred rubbed his temple with the tip of his wand, clearly suspicious of the newcomer. He wasn't in one of his welcoming moods, nor a "let's hide the fact that I use a wand" one either.
