Tonight at 8 p.m., we will be having a Masquerade Ball, courtesy of Flavio Vargas!  The event will be held in a venue he booked specially for the party, and players are encouraged to post their characters’ planned outfits.  The theme is “Elegant Extravagance,” so feel free to go all out!

As we said in the formal announcement, we will be allowing players to apply for 2P characters from this point on!  Since they are most a concept that has been perpetuated by fans, we decided that a list of rules regarding their existence needed to be put in place.  If you have questions or concerns regarding these rules, don’t hesitate to ask.

The 2P characters are an attempt to balance the established representation of a nation’s people.  They are more recent additions to the world, only having appeared in the 20th century and onwards.

Just as canon and nyotalia characters know of each others’ existence, 2P characters will know their canon, nyotalia, and 2P nyotalia counterparts.

Their relations with one another and the canon/nyotalia/2P nyotalia characters do not have to be familial, and are left up to the players.

As most characters don’t have canon designs, their appearances are left up to the players.  We recommend at least going off the fanon design, but it’s not necessary.

While we recognize that some 2P characters can have violent tendencies, we would like to remind players that severely injuring, maiming, disfiguring, or otherwise inflicting harm on characters must be heavily plotted with the other players and, depending on the severity, discussed with an admin beforehand.  2P characters might have violent speech tendencies, dropping threats and insults frequently (as long as it’s part of their personality to do so), but they will have learned to coexist with other nations.  The killing of other nations is strictly forbidden, so please be realistic should you choose to do a violent thread.  Additionally, players must use appropriate trigger warnings in regards to violent or otherwise adult content.

Alright everyone, for our next event we’re going to have a four-day long dash event to try and promote some activity between members who don’t really talk that often.  We’ve noticed that there have been a lot of cliques, and while it’s fine to stick to characters that your own character is close to, we need to try and be inclusive of everyone.  The admins have been guilty of this as well, so we’re all going to try to be better together with this event!

Based off the hit Korean show of the same title, the We Got Married event will pair up Nations as a mock “married couple.”  These Nations will live together for the duration of the event, and during that time, they will have tasks they must complete in order to win.  The team that finishes all (or the most) tasks will be rewarded for their efforts (the prize will be announced at a later date).

If you would like your character to participate in the event, simply send us a message with the nations you want to be involved.  We’ll pair each nation up based on how infrequently they interact; things like sexual preference, age, and gender aren’t really important as these “marriages” are not meant to actually be romantic.  (But, if there’s a spark between your characters, that’s awesome!)

Alright guys, as I mentioned before, we’ve got a new rule about picking up and dropping characters.  I do this quite frequently myself, but as we’ve received a few complaints from various players on the matter, we felt like it needed to be addressed.

So, here’s the new rule:

You can still drop characters whenever you wish, we’re not going to restrict that.  However, once you have dropped a character, you must wait a certain amount of time before picking up a new one.

If you had two characters and drop one, you must wait two weeks before picking up a new second account.  If you had three characters and drop one, you must wait one month before you can have another third character.

This rule is in effect starting now, so if you dropped a character recently, you will not be held to it unless you drop one from this point on.
