Like damn I discovered Ruby Rose before all the OitNB stuff and Break Free elated me, discovering a person who shared my specific non-binary identity and would be on a TV show and hopefully inspire others like me who don’t have anyone in the popular media to look up to and relate to. Apparently gender isn’t really brought up this season which sucks :/ I was really looking forward to seeing her because as far as I’m aware of there’s literally no other actor out there who identifies as gender fluid. I’m hoping that next season she gets an episode dedicated to herself and it gets addressed more. Or at least explicitly stated. Will probably ignore the Stella tag for awhile since there’s some pissy cis people complaining about there being another white girl on the show (Ruby ain’t a girl she just uses female pronouns).
