Could you find it within yourself to calm down for a second? What do you hope to get out of this, exactly? Do you usually make friends by calling them lame and nicknaming them Rudy? I was hoping you’d start off the letter a bit differently, but I’m doing my best to work with it- is that too lame and boring for you? Here, I’ll start us out on a better foot: I like old rock like Oasis and new rock like Kings of Leon. (This is where you tell me what music you listen to. Hopefully you do so without calling me Rudy or speaking in caps. Then, hopefully you continue and give us something else to talk about. That’s how letters work, right?)

I have no idea what I’m supposed to write in this letter, so I hope you’re prepared to carry on this conversation… or whatever this is. I’ve never really been good at writing or communicating, so letters aren’t my forte. However, social experiments are pretty cool. So whatever, right? I don’t really know what information they’re trying to get out of the experiment, though- people’s ability to bullshit letters and have penpals? Is this supposed to end in us opening up and being lifelong friends? Please don’t expect that from me. That’s it, I guess. I tried.
