Appellation: La Clape Domaine: La Négly @chateaulanegly Cuvée: La Côte Année / Year: 2018 Cépage / Grape: 30% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 30% Carignan, 10% Mourvèdre 🍇 🍇 Here we are in Languedoc on the La Clape appellation. This wine is aged 50% in wooden cask and 50% in concrete tanks. Carignan undergoes carbonic maceration. On the nose we first have the red fruit and the pepper that arrives. It's a rich and concentrated nose with a finish on light notes of game. In the mouth it is delicious and rich. We find each of the grape varieties, there is a balance between fruit and power. A wine that I like, sun-drenched but that of course is subjective and that is the beauty of wine. 🍇 🍇 Nous voilà ici dans le Languedoc sur l'appellation la Clape. L'élevage de ce vin est effectué à 50% en cube en bois et 50% en cuve béton. Le carignan subi une macération carbonique. Au nez on a d'abord le fruit rouge et le poivre qui arrive. C'est un nez riche et concentré avec une finale sur des notes légères de gibier. En bouche c'est gourmand et riche. On retrouve chacun des cépages, il y a un équilibre entre fruit et puissance. Appellation: La Clape Domaine: Château Hospitalet @gerardbertrandwines Cuvée: Grand Vin Année / Year: 2018 Cépage / Grape: Bourboulenc, Vermentino, Roussane et Viognier 🍇 🍇 I really like Gérard Bertrand wines and I love AOC La Clape. Having had the chance to visit Château l'Hospitalet, I could only present this wine which was part of my Christmas selection. Fermented and aged in barrels for about 8 months. On the nose there are notes of white fruits, very pleasant vegetal notes and in the background notes of vanilla and caramel. In the mouth it is expressive and very elegant, the wine has kept a nice freshness and the aging brings a lot of elegance. There is complexity. I served it on fleshy and thin Corsican oysters, followed by snacked scallops. 🍇 🍇 J'aime beaucoup les vins Gérard Bertrand et j'adore l'AOC La Clape. Ayant eu la chance de visiter le Château l'Hospitalet, je ne pouvait que vous présenter ce vin qui a fait partie de ma selection de Noël. Fermenté et élevé en barriques pendant environ 8 mois. Au nez il y a des notes de fruits blancs, des notes végétales très agréables et en arrière fond des notes de vanille et de caramel. En bouche c'est expressif et très élégant, le vin a gardé une belle fraîcheur et l'élevage apporte beaucoup d'élégance. Il y a de la complexité.
