#anzat

The Anzat were a unique near-human species hailing from Anzat, in the Mid Rim. Anzat fed on what they called ‘soup’ - an intelligent creature’s brain matter and essence by inserting hidden proboscises into a victim’s nostrils. Due to their inherent sensitivity to the Force, the Anzat had many unique abilities and sharp senses.

Here’s a Star Wars oc I’ve been workin’ on. He’ll get a character sheet in a lil bit, but he’s a smuggler that’s being pursued by an Anzati bounty hunter.

Dannik Jerriko was an Anzat bounty hunter born some thousand years before the Galactic Civil War. Known as The Eater of Luck to some, and Death to others, Jerriko’s usual targets were murderers, thieves, or assassins, as he figured that nobody would miss them after he drained them of their Force essence, or soup, which Anzati fed on.

Volfe Karkko was an Anzati Jedi Master turned Sith magician who joined the order a thousand years before the Battle of Naboo. As an Anzat, Karkko believed himself strong enough to resist his natural urge to harvest and consume the Force ‘soup’ from other living beings, but after indulging in it for the first time, he slipped towards the dark side. Karkko possessed strong telepathic and hypnotic abilities, and wielded a red lightsaber.
