not to sound like a broken record over here but I think it’s so fascinating how you can just tell that ella has grown up and it’s really weird too because pure heroine was so static and ethereal and feral it was meant as a mausoleum to her teenage years but green lights… is not it’s a drunk girl walking down the streets and yelling about her boyfriend, looking for the next thing… like that’s so real.. it’s like she reached earth and she’s not looking at it from a distance but with the rawness of someone that moves in the world and has seen and felt things… it’s so weird we’re the same age and somehow it's just really relatable and a little sad but in a good way
