Every time I remember Jinwoo’s acting debut was in that magic cellphone webdrama I feel rage tbh. To this day I’ll never understand how the plot got a green light, but then I remember how the shooting was rushed but the release was almost a year later. He was used for a new venture that YG was doing with a Chinese production company, used because of the popularity he had during debut era (sidenote: they did this again with that prison variety show he was on, you’re not slick YG). Idk, the series as a whole was so underwhelming and I can’t sit through it again (its baaaad). It’s frustrating because he has spoken about wanting to do acting but the roles that are sent his way... hm.
His part in Love For A Thousand More was small and dismissed as the weird character when he actually did alright *sigh*
I hope Jinwoo gets a role in a well written production of some sort. He’s been vocal about it since last year and he deserves a chance.
