January 11, 2026 - Northern White-fringed Antwren (Formicivora intermedia) These antwrens are found in a variety of wooded habitats, often around water, in Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, and Trinidad and Tobago. Foraging alone, in pairs, or in small family groups, and sometimes joining mixed-species flocks, they feed on insects and spiders. They weave cup-shaped nests from grass and plant fibers hung by the rims from forked branches. Females lay clutches of two eggs.
