I’m rewatching cycle 10 cause when I first watched it I was like 13 and I get so annoyed at everyone who can’t say Katarzyna’s name the right way. Like, it’s so simple. At one point they didn’t care. It’s like they erased her identity. WHY?

#1: Fatima
I remembered Fatima’s commercial and photo being much more of a mess than they actually were. I was going to give her third call-out, but then I watched and thought “But that wasn’t even really bad?”. Her photo is the best of the three. I feel substance underneath her expression and I still appreciate the makeup. The commercial is maybe the second best of the three. The only problem with the commercial was the one spot where she stumbled up on her words a bit, but she recovered nicely and that could be edited around. Now I’m surprised that she was the one cut before the final runway.
#2: Anya
The thing that kept Anya from getting first call-out from me was the photo. It’s pretty, but like Whitney’s I just feel like there isn’t much there. I still appreciate the eye makeup, but I don’t necessarily appreciate Anya in the photo as much. The commercial, although a bit of a mess, is very charming and could maybe work if bits and pieces were edited. She definitely should have been crowned the winner, though.
#3: Whitney
I was honestly prepared to say that Whitney did the best out of the three finalists for the CoverGirl stuff, because that’s how I remembered it when from when I rewatched the cycle. However, that wasn’t the case when I looked at their photos and commercial. Whitney’s photo looks completely vacant. She has doe-eyes, which are very pretty, but there’s just nothing behind them. Her commercial is also pretty much unusable because of how condescending she is presenting the lines and the blank stare she gives when she forgets her line (but the other girls’ commercials were also unusable), so I was surprised to realize that Whitney’s work in the finale wasn’t so far ahead of the other girls.
#1: Anya
This photo is the epitome of what I wanted from this shoot. It has a candid quality to it (probably because it was actually a candid shot of Anya) that adds a sense of reality to it. The thing I love most is that Anya looks so ticked off by the paparazzi, but her male model is totally living for the attention. It looks like he called to paparazzi to photograph them together and she’s not happy about it. Through all of this, Anya manages to remain gorgeous. I just wish her legs would have been slightly closer together.

#2: Fatima
This photo is very different from the other photos from this week, which is one reason why I love it. Everyone else went a very irritated route, but Fatima went for the diva that smiles for the camera, which I love. It looks like the two are an “it” couple that’s used to having paparazzi follow them. It works for me.
#3: Whitney
It was actually really tough for me to decide whether I liked Whitney or Fatima’s photo better this week, because I like them for different reasons. I eventually settled on liking Fatima’s more. I do love the irritated glance Whitney is giving the camera, though. It makes it look like she was caught in a private moment and is angry to be interrupted. It’s a pretty good shot from Whitney.
#4: Dominique
This photo is just tragic. Dominique looks like a legit drag queen, and there’s really nothing that could save it. I remember thinking that she might have had better photos than this in her shoot, but something tells me they still would have come out to be the worst of the week anyway.
