Antlermoss takes Bluekit and finds a safe path down to the bottom of the cliff, finding a safe place for her to hide before nervously looking for any other survivors.
He hears loud, wet coughing, rushing to the sound and finding Moonstar laying on the ground in a pool of his own blood. Calling out, he rushes to his side in a panic.
Racking his brain trying to think of what to do to save his leader, he barely notices the clan's deputy, Meadowtooth, laying dead nearby. Moonstar coughs again before speaking, spitting up more blood as he does.
"I leave things to you Antlermoss"
"NO! I can still-" Antlermoss stumbles for his words as Moonstar shakes his head sadly and continues
"Take the Survivors to the old camp," he starts, his voice weak and clearly strained from the effort, "from before we moved inland"
Antlermoss listens tearfully, nodding his head in confirmation to his leader's final request
Moonstar smiles weakly "You'll do great things..." he begins to trail off and his eyes close, his last words scarcely above a whisper "Antlerstar"
Antlermoss presses his nose tearfully to Moonstar's forehead, tears silently running down his cheek fur. He'll never be the leader Moonstar was, starclan above he's not ready to be a leader at all! But Bluekit needs him now, if there's any other survivors, they need him too.
He buries Moonstar alone, returning to Bluekit and nudging her awake to leave. Antlermoss leads her away from the clan that she knew, towards the sea at the other side of the territory
