Disassociate
So I decided to stop following the anti-religion groups I was following on Facebook. I am turned off by the arrogance they have towards those who don’t know as much as they know about other histories and supposed realities. Everyone is on their own personal journey and timing. No one has to catch up to anyone else. We are there to heal from the religion that made you that way not hold onto it. It’s just as toxic as going to church.
So, congregating, in any way, shape, or form, religious or anti-religious is just as toxic. I will just keep to myself and continue to document my own journey on this outlet. That’s where peace is. It does not make you a better person to be arrogant because you know more than the next person. Stop with the competition. It’s so inhuman. But we have all been broken by the judgmental spirit of christianity that it is ingrained in us even when we leave the lie.
