Far From Home goes out of its way to ignore actually meaningful, interesting storylines that they themselves set up.
How does Aunt May deal with the trauma of Peter getting snapped, leaving her alone? How does their relationship change from Homecoming now that he’s back?
How does Aunt May and Peter deal with the finacial instability that was probably caused from being snapped for five years?
She makes a joke about it then we never see her again.
Well, what about Peter’s other relationships? How does the snap affect any of his old friendships.
They got snapped too, everything’s fine.
Okay okay, what about Stark? Peter lost ANOTHER father figure. Does that open any old wounds about Uncle Ben? And Mysterio. It seemed like Peter grew attached to him too?
Uncle who? Peter only cares about Stark.
Okay, fine, well surely Peter has SOMETHING to say about the glasses Stark gave him that allows him to effortlessly invade the privacy of millions?
He uses them for personal gain then gives it to Mysterio after having known him for five days.
