Umbertide was exquisite this afternoon shimmering in a virtually cloudless sky. A really beautiful town with lots to see and do. Only a short (20 minute) incredibly beautiful drive from Castel Rigone on the Preggio road. I stress via this road because the alternative route (through the valley of Lisciano Niccone ) is really boring in comparison and longer. The views along the road from Castel Rigone to Umbertide via the Preggio road are just AMAZING!
