ββ He heard noises. Not too concerning, people are idiots and trespass all the time. Like him. ββ
ββ Even though he was taught to keep his distance from 'strangers', he felt an urge to check. The noises were concerning. Coughing and hacking weren't exactly noises heard from animals. ββ
ββ Fuck, he had no damn clue if this person was a crackhead or a kidnapper or some other kind of horrible person, but still. Checking didn't hurt. ββ
ββ So, he backtracked, following his steps back and following where he heard the noises from until he actually noticed someone. He ducked, still not trusting this 'random person' to be anywhere near normal. ββ
ββ Curiousity did get the better of him, though, and he ended up taking another look instead of bolting. ββ

[ Ellernate started hacking and coughing again, nearly gagging while wrapping its arms around itself in futile attempts to keep itself warm. ]
"I think I'm sick.... I- I *know* I'm sick. I thought taking a walk would make me feel better, but...."
[ Ellernate trailed off, not sure how to justify himself fully. He could hardly keep himself warm while it was inside, why did they think it would be a good idea to go out on a walk while it was cold out? ]
